Slow Down Retreat

About This Retreat

¨The highest motive in life is to be like WATER. It fights nothing or no one.
It flows from and back to its source, and in the flowing smooths and wears away all resistance.¨ (taoist saying)

Each season represents changes in nature and in the way we live and practice yoga.Equilibrium’s first retreat of 2019 is dedicated to the WINTER season, which is represented by the WATER element.

Based on Chinese Medicine and Taoist 5 Elements Philosophy, this retreat is designed to find & establish balance & harmony by aligning with the natural flow of life. The body organs which are more active during Winter are the kidney and the bladder. The asanas will focus on all the extensions of the spine, and the interior of the legs. The practice is slow but powerful.
